Individuals Interested in Training
APSTA will make house calls for groups of ten or more.
The Department of Homeland Security recommends that neighborhoods and families as well as individuals get American Red Cross Training in CPR, AED, and First Aid.

EMERGENCY HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING

CPR Quadruples chances of surviving if performed pre-EMS. --NEJM ($60 per person)
Teaches the skills and knowledge to care for someone who:
- Has stopped breathing, 4 Minutes
- Is Choking, to
- Whose pulse has stopped, or Prevent
- Is having a heart attack! Permanent
Brain Damage!Three types: Adult, Child, or Infant
AED ($60 per person)
Prepares one to add the use of an Automated Defibrillator to cardiac resuscitation efforts.
CPR/AED ($70 per person)
- Key to survival is the speed of response.
- In addition to CPR, when victims receive an electrical shock (AED) within a minute, there's a 90% chance of survival.
- For every minute of delay, you chance of survival drops 10%.
- Is having a heart attack!
Combines CPR and AED training.
First Aid Basics ($50 per person)
Teaches the basic skills for injuries and sudden illnesses:
- How to control bleeding and applying a pressure bandage,
- How to splint,
- What to do for burns, poisoning, fainting, and the effects of heat and cold emergencies.
- Is having a heart attack!
