I am writing on behalf of the American
Professional Safety Trainers Alliance (APSTA). We provide emergency health
and safety training to the New York, New Jersey and the Tri-State Metropolitan
Area.
As you may be aware, OSHA requires Bloodborne Pathogen training in many
industries. Penalties and fines levied by OSHA have been significant in this area, and
the consequences for non-compliance can be severe.
Additionally, many states and municipalities are adopting requirements for training in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External
Defibrillation (AED). Defibrillators have dramatically in- creased the save rate for heart attack victims when one is available within five minutes of the attack.
Our Firm provides training in these and other safety courses, including aquatics safety courses, by
Certified American Red Cross Instructors.
We specialize in on-site training, and we are able to train and certify our clients in BBP, CPR, and AED in a single day.
If your business is subject to any or all of these laws and regulations, we invite you to call us to arrange a visit from our staff.
If you do not know whether the above regulations and laws apply to you, please
call us.
On behalf of the entire staff of
APSTA, I would like to thank you for your time and attention to these important
emergency preparedness issues.
Sincerely Yours,
Philip M. Romero, Esq. General Counsel
